Tiny & Yellow Bumblebees
Our nursery and toddler room in one. For the babies, feeding and sleep rhythms come first — we follow home, not a timetable. As they grow into walkers and talkers, it's first words, first steps outside and first friends.
Eight purpose-built rooms, our own chefs and school buses, and the same family at the door since 2008. Six weeks to twelve years, 6.30am to 6.30pm.
We understand that leaving your child in someone else's care can be a big step. Here's what families love about Annabelle and why they feel confident recommending us to others.
Your child's safety is always our top priority. We provide secure entry, close supervision, and first-aid-trained educators with child-safety training on every shift. Our management team are also available every day of the week to answer your questions and give you peace of mind.
We help your child feel settled from the start: calm orientation visits before day one, a dedicated educator to welcome them each morning, and photo updates so you can continue your day with confidence.
Eight purpose-built rooms, big shaded yards and a play-based program under the Early Years Learning Framework. Children transition to school with confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.
Offering long day care and before and after school care from 6.30am to 6.30pm, we believe predictable daily routines provide a gentle rhythm that helps your little ones feel safe, confident and right at home.
We understand that big changes often come in little steps, and we're here to walk alongside your family through every one. Whether your child is taking their very first steps into our care, moving up to a big-kid room, or preparing for the exciting world of school, we wrap each transition in warmth, patience and gentle reassurance.

My little one, just 6 months old, easily adjusted to the environment. It's such a relief for us parents. Educators love what they're doing — you can see the passion.
I have a child in the babies room and one who attends before and after school care. I highly recommend Annabelle Child Care Centre.
My child has developed rapidly and has enjoyed going to this centre. Staff are amazing and great communicators. Management and admin are absolutely amazing.
Most families pay a fraction of the daily fee once the Child Care Subsidy kicks in. Try the estimator — no forms, no call needed.

We're a family-owned and family-run centre on Bringelly Road, Leppington — not a chain, not a franchise. Open since 2008, purpose-built with 230 places, eight age-based rooms, big shaded yards, our own kitchen and chefs, our own school buses and a team of more than fifty educators. And still run the way a family runs things: the owners are here, the office knows your name, and the decisions are made by people who see your child every day.
At Annabelle, we believe every child deserves a place where they feel safe, valued, supported and inspired to grow.
Since opening our doors in 2008, our vision has been simple: to create a warm, nurturing and welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, build friendships and develop the confidence to thrive.
As a proudly family-owned childcare centre, we've always believed that early childhood education should feel like an extension of home. A place where children are greeted with a smile, families are welcomed with open arms, and every child is known, understood and celebrated for who they are.
Being family-owned means we can focus on what matters most: providing dedicated educators, nutritious freshly prepared meals, spacious outdoor play areas, enriching experiences and the flexibility to support the changing needs of our families.
We're proud to have been part of the Leppington and South West Sydney community for so many years, building lasting relationships and creating a place where generations of families feel they belong.
At Annabelle, our values are more than words. They guide how we care for children, support families and create a welcoming environment where everyone feels they belong.
At Annabelle, we believe learning goes beyond the classroom. Through visits to Carnes Hill and Oran Park Libraries, hands-on experiences at Bunnings Leppington and meaningful connections with our local community, we inspire children to explore, discover and grow.
We proudly support our local junior footy club, visit aged care residents and give back through charity fundraisers and autism awareness walks. These experiences nurture kindness, confidence, compassion and a sense of belonging, helping children understand the joy of caring for others.
Proudly part of Leppington since 2008, we're more than a childcare centre — we're a family growing with our community.

From six weeks to twelve years, all under one roof. Each room is purpose-built for its age group, with its own yard time, routines and educators — and children move up when they're ready, never rushed. With eight rooms, groups stay small and the step up is always a small one.

Our nursery and toddler room in one. For the babies, feeding and sleep rhythms come first — we follow home, not a timetable. As they grow into walkers and talkers, it's first words, first steps outside and first friends.

Our toddler room — the "I do it myself" room. Learning to pour, dress, share and say how they feel. Toilet learning together with you, when you're both ready.

A mixed-age room where our older toddlers and younger preschoolers learn side by side. Lots of language, lots of movement, and the confidence that comes from helping a littler friend.

The first preschool room. Longer projects, group time, and the yard as a classroom. Early literacy and numbers arrive through play, not worksheets.

Big questions, big projects. Children plan, build, test and present — and start recognising their name, holding a pencil and listening in a group.

Our school-leavers' rooms. A full transition-to-school program in the last year — visits to local schools, packing their own bag, and the confidence to walk into kindergarten ready.

The second of our two school-leaver rooms, running the same transition-to-school program so every child gets a small group and a familiar educator in their final year.

Before and after school care with our own buses to and from the local primary schools. Breakfast before school, a snack after, and fun, active vacation care programs in every school holiday.
Whatever room your child is in, every day has planned and spontaneous play, time outdoors, home-cooked meals, rest for those who need it, and an educator watching for what they're interested in next. We write it down, take photos, and share it with you on the parent app.
⏰ Walk through a whole dayEducators sit with children, not above them. They ask "what do you think?", offer the next challenge when a child's ready, and step back when they're not needed. Each child has a primary educator who knows them best and is your go-to at pick-up.
💛 Meet the educatorsTell us your child's age and the days you need, and we'll let you know what's available — or when it might be.
At Annabelle, we believe every child is a capable, confident and curious learner. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (Belonging, Being & Becoming) and My Time, Our Place for school-aged children, our play-based programs nurture creativity, independence and a love of learning.
Through meaningful experiences tailored to each child's interests and strengths, we encourage children to explore, discover and grow with confidence. Every child is unique, every moment matters, and every journey deserves to be celebrated.
We believe children learn best through play, exploration and discovery. Our thoughtfully planned program follows each child's interests, strengths and individual learning journey.
Our educators combine intentional teaching with meaningful play experiences, balancing familiar daily routines with opportunities for creativity, curiosity and independence.
Through observations, photos and learning stories, we celebrate each child's achievements and work closely with families to support their ongoing growth. Every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow and shine.
Our philosophy reflects the shared values, passion and commitment of our educators. Proudly displayed in our foyer, it has guided the way we care, teach and make decisions since 2008, ensuring every child and family feels welcomed, valued and supported.
We believe that the children, families, staff and the community are important components that make up Annabelle Child Care Centre.
At Annabelle Child Care Centre we see children as unique and capable individuals, who come to our Service with their own interests, talents, skills and ideas. We as Educators value, respect and appreciate this uniqueness. We believe children are active participants in their learning and learn by discovering, exploring and asking questions, which empowers them to construct their own knowledge and express their views and ideas. As we unpack the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) we work alongside the child to actively promote children's learning through worthwhile and challenging experiences and interactions that foster high-level thinking skills.
We feel that a meaningful, integrated, emergent curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework – Belonging, Being and Becoming – and the School Aged Care Learning Framework – My Time, Our Place – is the most beneficial to children's learning across all developmental domains. Our programs reflect planned and spontaneous experiences, designed to support children's development in all areas. We implement this through a flexible program based on children's observations, interests, intentional teaching, family involvement and reflection. Daily observations, work samples and photos are the methods we use to record children's progress.
We acknowledge and respect that each child is part of a family with values, beliefs and cultures, and that is why we are committed to open and constructive communication with families. We value the roles of families and encourage them to share meaningful ideas, knowledge and experiences on a regular basis. We aim to involve all families in all aspects of the program's development and implementation. We strive to develop positive, mutually respectful relationships with each family member, as we work in partnership to achieve the best possible outcomes for all.
We are committed to employing Educators who have passion and motivation to work with children and families. We believe Educators need to build good relationships with children, families and each other through open communication, trust and respect. We value Educators' input, opinions and beliefs, and support this through daily discussions and planned staff meetings where they share in decision-making and receive feedback. We support Educators in keeping up to date with early childhood education by offering professional development opportunities.
We believe the environment plays an important role in enhancing children's learning and development. Our Educators recognise the importance of providing a safe, secure, homelike and consistent environment that supports trust and familiarity as well as active exploration of learning. Our learning environments are welcoming spaces that reflect and enrich the lives and identities of the children and families participating, and respond to their interests and needs. We cater for different capacities and learning styles and invite children and families to contribute ideas, interests and questions.
We strive to be a centre of excellence for early childhood education within our community by adhering to all legislation, regulations and the National Quality Standard (2018). We believe Annabelle Child Care Centre has an important function to play in the community: to provide children and families with information and support, and a service that reflects their needs — a Service where community resources and events are used effectively to enhance the growth and development of individual children, families and Educators.
Each morning at group time the children say our acknowledgement of Country with the actions — the first thing they learn here, and the thing families hear repeated at home. Through the year we mark Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week with bush walks, stories and art.
The framework names five outcomes. We've turned them into cards — roughly how a four-year-old would explain them.
Mid-morning is the best time. Come and watch a project unfold — then stay for morning tea.

Estimate only, using the 2026–27 Child Care Subsidy rates (90% up to $88,520 family income, tapering 1% per $5,000; hourly cap $15.19 under school age, $13.30 school age, over an 11-hour day). Your actual subsidy depends on your circumstances and Services Australia's assessment. From 2026 every eligible family gets at least three days of subsidised care a week.
Tell us their age and the days you're after. We'll reply within a business day, usually sooner.
